East African Cooperation Association (DAIBD) adopts an effective civil society model based on member and community participation. The association develops various strategies in order to effectively involve its members in its projects and establish a strong bond with communities. It values members' opinions and contributions and encourages their active participation in decision-making processes.

DAİD includes its member communities in an integrated manner throughout the process, from the design to the implementation of the projects. By creating joint decision-making platforms, it encourages members to share their ideas and suggestions and thus ensures that projects are managed in a more comprehensive and community-oriented manner.
